The Problem
Space Apartments is the brand name of Space Cowboy Ltd, which provides luxury serviced accommodation in various locations across Essex and London. They primarily accommodate insurers and business travellers, but occasionally holidaymakers.
Since the company’s inception, they’ve been making steady growth online, but visitor numbers began to fall in July and August 2021.
Unfortunately, the previous SEO company they were using targeted the wrong keywords, so the homepage wasn’t gaining significant traction. In addition, they missed out on the opportunity to create local pages for areas where Space Apartments have many properties available.

The Solution
We researched keywords for each of the three web pages we agreed to optimise. This was a challenge because we had to pay extra attention to the search results for the keywords to ensure the website didn’t compete against big property websites like Rightmove and Zoopla.
With the keywords researched and agreed upon, we proceeded to optimise the content for the homepage so it would show when searchers typed “Serviced Apartments Essex”. In addition, we created two new pages targeting Brentwood and Romford, and the content was locally optimised with references to nearby attractions.
Space Apartments used their Google Business Listing but weren’t visible on other local directories. So, we added their name, address and phone to 160 local business directories.
In addition to the above, Space Apartments wanted to find new ways to reach landlords looking for rent-to-rent schemes. Using Google Keyword Planner, we identified that local landlords searched “Guaranteed Rent Essex”, and some local estate agents targeted it. We created a new web page targeting this one keyword.
